The Simple Solution for Two Rings that Won't Fit Together

Susan had a problem: her two rings didn’t sit flush against each other, despite her desire for them to align perfectly. Normally, I’d solder the rings together, but these rings weren’t designed to match. Instead, I notched the underside of the engagement ring and added a contoured connecting bar.

Now, you might wonder why not just solder them directly. Susan wanted the flexibility to wear each ring separately. This method kept that option open. After soldering the bar, I polished the inside with a buffing wheel. Here’s the transformation: Susan's rings now align beautifully, thanks to this creative solution.
